Immerse yourself in the wonders of the past with our engaging and educational history shows. We believe in making history accessible to all, ensuring that nobody misses out on our shared heritage.
Our interactive history visits for schools encourage students to learn through hands-on experience. We support Key Stage 2 and above and we cover every period and theme in the UK National Curriculum.
We ask a £70 donation for a hour long class visit, or a £95 donation for a day visit.
Experience history up close at our festival events. We run weapons demonstrations, clay pot making, dress up areas and our standard handling sessions with artefacts from the Stone age, Roman, Medieval and modern periods.
We're funded for some events in order to give our collection a wide audience, so please get in touch by email.
We specialise in bringing history to everyone so that no-one misses out. We can bring our collection of memorabilia and artefacts to care home, supported accomodation and other settings. History is for everyone.
We ask a £70 donation for a hour long visit, or contact us for bigger events.
At Strange Old Things Mobile Museum, we run great interactive history shows tailored for schools, festivals, and residential settings. We believe in bringing history to those who would otherwise miss out. Our mission is to engage and educate through immersive experiences that make the past come alive. Explore our diverse programs and join us on a journey through time.
As well as our visits we run a whole host of activities and services in line with our status as a non-profit museum.
We conduct family and military history research to help you find out about and get closer to your relatives or artefacts.
Unidentified objects are our speciality!
You can find out how to donate to our charity above. But the donations we most prize are those artefacts that have sat in your desk drawer for years... Please consider donating them to our collection so the public can appreciate them as well.
